Similar to last year I tried to stick around a concept and didn't really firmly decide what I wanted to do because I didn't really understand/know what I wanted to do with my ideas and 3D modeling. However this year I know the theme that I want to stick to and that would be Fantasy. Now fantasy is a broad term but with it being so broad comes the opportunity to use in many different ways from mechanical to magical and everything in between.
The reason I choose fantasy is because it's ideas are something I'm also thinking about creating and a lot of my work that I have done revolves around fantasy. Examples like above are what I adore so much about fantasy, it creates a world beyond what we experience that just makes you wonder about it and I love that kind of art. My main idea of what I would want to work on with this theme is to make a landscape style model with my own idea on how it looks. Diffidently something the screams otherworldly such as the image above and if I can finish this idea make a little animation out of it, some sort of short story. My goal this year is to improve my skills while also using this improvement to actually create something meaningful instead of stepping from mini project to mini project. My goal would to be to at least create two areas, If I could end the year off with this goal and like how they look in the end i'll be happy. I attempted to create a medieval village in the past but It just never went anywhere so I really want to get somewhere with this project. Some other great examples of what i'm trying to accomplish
